Green-winged bombers

Who wouldn't want to be dive-bombed by orange-fronted parrots in the Mexican jungle?

  1. Do you know about the parrot/parakeet population in and around Seward Park? They've visited my backyard on numerous occasions; they are especially fond of Russian black sunflower seeds in the fall -- they perch on the top of the plant and get on with the business of dining!

  3. Cool shots! But I'd pass on parrot dive-bombing myself. I live with my wife's yellow-naped Amazon (Pablo); he is very attached to her & really doesn't like most other people--myself included. After all, he's been with her 25 years, whereas I've only been with her 14--an interloper. & he would like to dive bomb me.
